Join Lower Phalen Creek Project on Sunday June 13th, for a wonderful afternoon of planting our medicines! Recently, and with the help of Urban Roots, we’ve been able to secure a space on the Rivoli Bluffs to start an urban community medicine garden created by and for Native people. We dream of this garden to be a safe space for community to come pray, harvest, and gather with each other and the land in a good way.

We’ll be planting medicines like sage, sweetgrass, chokecherry, red willow, yarrow, wild strawberry, bee balm, and many more! It’ll be a family-friendly, in-person, and outdoor event (with covid precautions followed). No prior planting experience necessary.
