Summer is a time of growth in which the land offers plenty of gifts. In this class, we’ll learn how to craft odes that praise the natural world. We’ll also take a look at how to write setting and explore how place shapes who we are and the stories we tell. There will be examples from the fiction author Louise Erdrich and the essayist Robin Wall Kimmerer.
