April 2022

Proud Attendees of the 11th Tribal Land Staff National Conference

The 11th Tribal Land Staff National Conference is complete on April 5-7, 2022!

But we could not let this moment pass without honoring the presence of such notable Elders, along with the memories of the little ones from the Kamloops Indian Residential School.

Many great thanks to AIFC’s Elders, Maria Morin McCoy, Nelda Goodman, and their colleagues at Indigenous Roots for bringing the photoed exhibit to the conference. Thank you for attending this great event at the beautiful Mystic Lake Center in the Shakopee

Mdewakanton Sioux Community in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. It was great returning to an in-person event this year after having a virtual conference in 2021. Attendees enjoyed the unique learning opportunities on-site and the many networking opportunities available. Plus, continue offering tribal land professionals a supportive setting where they can network and share expertise and resources with their peers while receiving dynamic, practical training to strengthen the management of tribal land operations throughout Indian Country.
